However an ex-rugby player, Tim never runs from trouble and is always happy to help the locals, particularly when they are in a spot of trouble. Tim happily sends off a couple of heavies, sent round by one of the bookmakers to Mr. Goodston, his local bookseller, but his curiosity is aroused, when it seems they were not sent chasing money after all. Further oddities occur when the murder of a researcher and the theft of several paintings lead Tim to the conclusion that something big is happening.
